SEOpital offers a solution designed to provide any individual or legal entity (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) with functionalities for writing content through a digital tool (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

SEOpital uses the Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, the User agrees to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this privacy policy, terms used in this privacy policy have the same meanings as in SEOpital’s general conditions.

Our Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern all use of the Service and, together with the Privacy Policy, any use of the Service signifies the User’s Agreement (hereinafter the “Agreement”).

(k) to provide the User with news, special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events offered by SEOpital unless the User opts not to receive such information;

(l) in any other way SEOpital may describe when the User provides the information;

(m) for any other purpose with the User’s consent;

(n) to enable SEOpital to issue invoices to the User as part of the provision of Services.

  1. Data Retention

SEOpital will retain the Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy.

SEOpital will retain and use the User’s Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce legal agreements and policies.

SEOpital will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Service, or SEOpital is legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

  1. Data Transfer

The User’s information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of the User’s state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of the User’s jurisdiction.

SEOpital may disclose the Personal Data collected or provided:

SEOpital commits to exerting its best efforts to ensure the security of the User’s Personal Data.

In this sense, SEOpital cannot be held responsible in the event that the User’s Data is disclosed or deleted due to situations beyond the reasonable efforts that can be implemented by SEOpital to ensure data security, such as, for example:

  • the accidental or criminal destruction of SEOpital’s servers;
  • hacking of SEOpital’s servers by malicious individuals;
  • etc.

SEOpital strives to take reasonable measures to allow the User to correct, modify, delete, or limit the use of their Personal Data.

If the User wishes to be informed of the Personal Data that SEOpital holds about them and if they want it to be deleted from SEOpital’s systems, the User can send an email to idriss@seopital.co.

Under certain circumstances, the User has the following rights in data protection:

(a) the right to access, update, or delete the information SEOpital holds about them;

(b) the right to rectification. The User has the right to have their information rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete;

(c) the right to object. The User has the right to object to SEOpital processing their Personal Data;

(d) the right to restriction. The User has the right to request that SEOpital restricts the processing of their Personal Data;

(e) the right to data portability. The User has the right to receive a copy of their Personal Data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format;

(f) the right to withdraw consent. The User also has the right to withdraw their consent at any time as SEOpital relies on the User’s consent to process their Data.

SEOpital reserves the right to verify the User’s identity before responding to such requests. It is possible that SEOpital may not be able to provide the Service without certain necessary data.

The User has the right to file a complaint with a Data Protection Authority regarding SEOpital’s collection and use of their Data. For more information, the User can contact the local data protection authority in the European Economic Area (EEA).

SEOpital may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the Service (Service Providers), to provide the Service on its behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist it in analyzing how the Service is used.

These third parties have access to the User’s Data only to perform these tasks on behalf of SEOpital and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our service.   1. Payments

The User pays SEOpital for the use of the Service, with the frequency and amount set in advance of their access to the Service.

SEOpital does not store or collect the User’s bank account or IBAN details. This information is provided directly to its third-party payment processors whose use of the User’s Data is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information.

  1. Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by SEOpital. If the User clicks on a third-party link, they will be directed to that third party’s site. SEOpital strongly advises the User to review the Privacy Policy of every site they visit.

SEOpital has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

  1. Privacy of Minors

The Service is not intended for use by minors under the age of 18 (hereinafter “Minors”).

SEOpital does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Minors under 18. If the User realizes that a Minor has provided us with Personal Data, they can contact us. If SEOpital becomes aware that it has collected Personal Data from a Minor without verification of parental consent, SEOpital will take steps to remove that information from its servers.

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

SEOpital may update our privacy policy at any time. SEOpital will notify the User of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on the Site.

SEOpital will notify by email and/or a prominent notice on our Site, prior to the change becoming effective and update the “effective date” at the top of this Privacy Policy.

SEOpital recommends that the User review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this privacy policy are effective when they are posted on the Site.
